Pull out your railpass and jump the next train to Munich, the cultural capital of Bavaria and home to the Oktoberfest festival. This ancient city, meticulously rebuilt after WWII, is a prime stop on the euro-backpacking circuit. Our next train brings us to the idyllic Swiss Alps, a landscape of dramatic mountains, valleys and alpine pastures with views over the Rhone valley. Romantic and mysterious Venice is last, the perfect setting to wrap up this Euro adventure.
