On this trip we gain access to the distinct cultures of these three very diverse countries (The Netherlands, Belgium, and France), and we devote our attention to understanding not only what makes them all unique but also the ways in which they are intimately entwined.

Our first destination is Amsterdam, a favorite stop for backpackers and young travelers, where we tour the city's gardens and squares, take in a bit of its nightlife, and enjoy the art and history on display. Then we head to Belgium – a destination often overlooked by tourists but overflowing with amazing sites and activities. We tour the canals of Bruges (often called "the Venice of Northern Europe"), learn the art of handcrafted chocolate in Brussels, and shop in Antwerp. Along the way, we pause to reflect on the lessons of modern history, as we visit the site of a former concentration camp.

We round out our travels in Paris, City of Light, where we stay just steps away from Notre Dame Cathedral. We tour the Louvre, picnic at the Luxembourg Gardens, enjoy the spectacle of the city at night, dine on fabulous food, pop into the shops along the Champs Élysée, and climb to the tops of the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.
